I The Advisory

An independent counsel for the age of autonomous intelligence.

vCyberBoard Advisor B.V. KVK 42180040 is an independent EU-rooted advisory translating cyber and artificial-intelligence risk into the language of value, accountability and decision-making for the boards who carry it.

vCyberBoard Advisor B.V. is an independent board advisory providing cybersecurity and AI governance counsel to boards, executives and organizations across the European Union.

We are built for a single threshold moment: the moment cyber risk and artificial intelligence stopped being an IT problem and became a question of sovereignty, value and board accountability. We exist to keep intelligence human and agentic alike accountable to the institutions it serves.

Our work spans cybersecurity strategy, cyber-risk management, security governance and operational resilience paired with a dedicated AI governance practice covering the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the responsible use of autonomous and agentic AI. We help leadership teams meet regulatory requirements with confidence while protecting the long-term interests of the institutions they govern.

As an independent advisor, we hold no vendor alliances and answer only to the boards we serve. Headquartered in the Netherlands, we serve boards across the EU.

Our Conviction

Sovereignty is not a posture. It is a control objective.

Every engagement is measured against one question: does it strengthen the board's authority over the intelligent systems it depends on or quietly surrender it?

II Operating Principles

Counsel that answers only to the board.

Sovereignty by design

We treat data, model and decision autonomy as a board-level asset. Every control preserves the client's right to govern intelligence inside EU jurisdiction no silent dependencies, no opaque third-party drift.

Agentic AI containment

As AI agents gain autonomy, the attack surface becomes behavioural. We design guardrails, kill-switches and accountability chains that keep agentic systems answerable to human intent.

Regulatory resilience

NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act and GDPR are not separate obligations but one operating posture. We map them into a single, board-readable control fabric.

Independent assurance

No vendor alliances, no resale incentives. Counsel that answers only to the board it serves and to the long-term value it protects.
